Commit to Your Practice
Are you watching days, weeks, and months — even years — go by, and you’re not progressing with your writing like you want to? Are you even…not writing at all?
Let’s fix that, together.
Your creative voice absolutely matters, and I want to help you give it the time, energy, and attention it deserves.
When we go through school, or we check off to-do items at work, or when we take the prescribed actions to earn a promotion or certification, there are clear steps laid out for us to reach our goals — but building a writing life doesn’t have a clear, set pathway that works for everyone. Writing and other creative practices require us to forge our own path that suits our unique vision and life circumstances, and this isn’t always easy. It’s no wonder we keep spending our time on other things!
I want to help you work through blocks you are having in your creative practice and develop a way to integrate the time and energy you spend on your writing with your other important priorities, so that you can stay committed to your writing and build a creative life that works for YOU.
Commit to Your Practice is my project to gift 20 individual,
one-hour coaching sessions to 20 writers over three weeks
(September 18 - October 6, 2023).
This project is for you if you connect with any of the following:
You want to write more regularly.
You want to complete more writing projects.
You want to define what writing “success” means to you.
You are tired of feeling frustrated with your progress on your writing goals.
Your caregiving, work, or other time/energy demands seem to take everything from you and leave nothing for your writing.
What to expect:
A series of questions when you book your session, to prepare you for a successful call
A dedicated 60 minutes with Catherine, full of attentive listening, powerful questions, and coaching that is tailored to your unique needs (e.g., finding time, getting to the root of creative blocks, discovering your unique voice, examining feelings of unworthiness in your writing practice or projects, etc.)
A follow up email after your session with a recording of the call (if you’d like), notes, and prompts inspired by our conversation

I look forward to connecting with you!
Coaching projects such as these are both a way for me to share my services with a wider community and also to connect with folks who may be interested in working together further. If your session is beneficial and we are a good fit, with your consent I will share information with you about additional coaching opportunities with me.
